Everything about Baron Scales totally explained

Baron Scales is a title in the Peerage of England. It was created in 1299 by writ for Robert de Scales. The last known holder was Elisabeth Wydville, who was married to Anthony Woodville, 2nd Earl Rivers. After her death in 1473, he was summoned in her right. On his death in 1483 the peerage fell into abeyance. For many generations, the Scales family resided at what is today known as Middleton Towers, in Middleton, Norfolk.
